Ford VS Paine
Unlike in his first fight, Ben the-hurricane-of Paine didn't really go at as he did in this fight against John Ford. This fight was pretty exciting to watch as Ford with his quick speed took on the rock solid Paine. After the ceremonious touching of gloves, the fighters stood there and looked at each other sizing the other up. Ford would dance around as Paine silently approached Ford with hardly any movement at all. Ford threw the first blow and the fight was on. Paine would go on the offensive and with his sheer mass he would be able to knock Ford back as it he hit punched Ford. This wouldn't slow down Ford though, he kept dancing and avoiding some of Paine's attacks. His defensive game was great, the only problem was when he went on the offense he would leave himself open to be hit hard by Paine. About halfway into the round Paine knocked Ford into the crowd due to his mass. Once they got back into the center ring, they went at it again. Ford would try to get close to Paine without getting smashed by Paine's massive arms. Ford would time to time move around the ring as Paine just walked around following, perhaps at this point Ford was trying to wear Paine down. Hitting him wasn't doing it as Ford could tell; direct punches to the face didn't stun Paine he just kept on coming. The round was so engaging that both fighters didn't realized the minute was already over once someone had called round.
The second round was more the same. Ford would throw hooks and jabs directly into Paine's face but it didn't stop Paine from throwing those heavy hits into Ford. Ford would dance around some more and Paine kept following. When Paine went on the attack, Ford could only try to move back else he would get hit hard. Paine would push Ford back into the corner twice this way before round 2 was over and bother fighters ended the fight.
