Andres VS Young

Nick AndresVSBrian Young

Nearing the end of the first new SBB event things were slowing down and the fog of beer was setting in for me. Thus what ordinarily looked like this:

More like this:

It was obvious at that point that I should do something about the enclosing shroud but as the day wore on I was too tired to venture around the place to do anything about it. As such, I found myself screwing up the camera controls and missing the first round of the fight. Fortunately for you, you have a reviewer that vaguely remembers the details. As such, I can safely tell you guys you didn't miss much. The first round was much like the following next two which I guess that's where I should start my much overblown review.

It had been quite for both fighters who stepped into the ring. In fact over year for both. From the beginning I had given the advantage to Mr. Young as he was more a regular at SBB than Andres was. It turned out that my predictions would be true for this fight. From the beginning it was clear that Mr. Young was much more calm and anxious at all. It would clearly wait for his opponent Andres to make a mistake then attack. Meanwhile, Andres was much more concerned about avoiding being hit rather then going on the offensive. As Young would try to make his move he was quick to try to move out of danger. Overall the second round was pretty slow and uneventful as neither fighters were terribly aggressive.

By the third round both fighters stepped up their aggression, but it did little to spice up the fight. While there was one or two hits that connected, most the time the fighters would be using their arms to keep each other at distance when the other was swinging. Brian Young would out last his opponent though as Nick would eventually topple due to exhaustion, bordem, or drunkness( the cause has yet to be determined by our key investigators).

As Nick fell, Brian would fall back too as it pretty much signaled the fight was over. As he laid there he tossed his gloves to the ground and that's when tragedy broke. I don't think it ever was determined if it was Brian's or not. I believe a once great man said a wasted beer is like a wasted life. This holds just as true today. As controversy tore though the SBB crowd, an inquiry was made into who's beer it actually was. After much deduction(or was that apathy?...) the matter was never resolved and people when back to whatever they were doing.
